Plenty of tours point at buildings. We're more interested in what's between them: how culture, history, food and public space stitch Toronto's neighbourhoods together, and why that's the most interesting thing about this city.

The Mosaic Mile
Five stops, one continuous thread: a village that reinvented itself twice, a museum arguing with its own façade, a creek buried under a park, a short subway hop and a stretch of Bloor where the menus change language. About 1 hour 45 minutes on foot, just under two hours, confirmed at booking.

01Yorkville
A brickyard village, then Canada's counterculture address, now one of its priciest blocks. We read those three eras off the same storefronts.
02ROM / Bloor corridor
Victorian stone bolted to a jagged glass crystal. It's the clearest place in the city to see Toronto argue with itself about old versus new.
03Philosopher's Walk
You're walking a river. Taddle Creek still runs under here, and the ravine explains why the university, the museum and the conservatory sit exactly where they do.
04Short subway hop
A few stops on the line, the way locals actually cross the city, plus a look at how the subway decided which neighbourhoods grew.
05Koreatown
Signage, menus and grocery aisles change within a block. We end on how a single stretch of Bloor became a whole community's front door, and what's worth eating on it.

Mike, and why Touronto exists
I'm a lifelong Torontonian, York University graduate, instructional designer and ESL educator. My work has always been about making complex ideas easy to understand and helping people connect across cultures.
That same approach shapes my tours. I connect Toronto's history, neighbourhoods, architecture, immigration stories and everyday life so the city feels less like a list of landmarks and more like a story you can walk through.
I love showing guests the details locals pass every day and the multicultural layers that make Toronto what it is.

Past project
Past project: Beaver Hunting in Toronto
A temporary neighbourhood discovery project built around Old Town Toronto's public-art beavers. Touronto produced short-form social frames and walkable route guidance for Front Street, The Esplanade and the surrounding blocks, so viewers could find the sculptures on foot and spend time in the businesses around them.
Self-initiated and now finished: the installations have been removed and Beaver Hunting is not a current or bookable Touronto tour. It's shown here as an example of the neighbourhood storytelling we can build with a BIA, festival or community group.
